SIM East Asia is pleased to announce two leadership appointments effective 1 April 2026.

Dr Ng Khee Yang, Regional Director
Dr Ng Khee Yang shares a metaphor about a lime tree branch to emphasize the importance of abiding in Christ despite challenges. He cites Ephesians 6:12 regarding spiritual struggles and requests prayer for coworkers and himself.
吴启扬博士以青柠树枝的比喻，强调在挑战中住在基督里的重要性。他引用以弗所书 6:12 关于属灵争战的经文，并请求为同工和自己代祷。

Background 背景
Dr Ng holds a doctorate in Civil Engineering. He served as a lecturer and assistant director at Singapore polytechnics and has been active in Hebron Bible-Presbyterian Church. He was formerly a Navigators ministry leader. He is married to Chee Shan and they have two daughters and a son-in-law.

Ps Suhandy Yao, Executive Director
Ps Suhandy Yao reflects on God's faithfulness through challenges in support, finances, ministry, and health. He uses a metaphor about plants with shallow roots to stress the importance of deep faith and dependence on Christ. He invites prayer for SIM as it enters a new ministry stage.
姚牧师反思上帝在支持、财务、事工和健康挑战中的信实。他以浅根植物的比喻，强调深厚信心和倚靠基督的重要性。他邀请大家为 SIM 进入新的事工阶段代祷。

Background 背景
Ps Suhandy holds an Electrical Engineering degree from NTU and worked six years in the marketplace before pursuing ministry. He earned a Master of Divinity from Singapore Bible College and has served as a pastor and missions executive among Indonesian diasporas. He is married to Susan and they have one son and one daughter.
姚牧师拥有南洋理工大学电气工程学位，在进入事工前于职场工作六年。他于新加坡神学院获得道学硕士，曾任牧师及宣教执行官，在印尼侨民事工中服事。他与妻子 Susan 育有一子一女。
